Would it be possible to have the game save the selected resolution on exit?

It does save whether it's windowed or full-screen, however it does not appear to be saving the resolution selected from the launcher.

I've been running in 1024 x 768, and have to reset it every time I restart.

It would be nice if the launcher remembered the selected resolution so I didn't have to reset it each time.

    System Specs:

    Win 7 x64
    Pentium i7
    Soundblaster X-Fi
    6Gb RAM
    1 Tb Hd.

    Saves it for me too.
Change the resolution, open the game and quit immediately. Then re-run the game, that may do it.

If that does not work, you can try and change the config.txt file manually found at the following location for Win7/Vista:
    C:\Users\(USERNAME)\Documents\Gaslamp Games\Dungeons of Dredmor

    [How to change config.txt]
    -----------------------
1.Open the game's launcher. There is a display resolution dropdown box,in which there is a list with the available resolutions.
Open it and scroll with the UP arrow until you reach the top of the available resolutions.
You will see something like(Ignore ___ lines):
    1920x1200_______<-- The 1st option with position 0>
    1920x1080_______<-- The 2nd option with position 1>
1680x1050_______<-- The 3rd option with position 2 and so on.>
    ...
    1440x900
    ...
    1024x768________<-- The 22th option, with position 21.>

2.Start counting from the top of the options starting with the first one as ZERO(0).
Use the DOWN arrow to scroll down slowly and continue counting until you reach 1024x768.
[This is an example, your 1024x768 position will probably be another position than 21]

3.Open the config.txt file, you will see something like:
21______<-- The display resolution selected from the list.>
    1_______<-- 1 for Fullscreen, 0 for Window-mode.>
    100
    100

Now simply change the first number in the file with your 1024x768 position.
Re-run the game and quit.Hope it works.

Thanks to all of you for your attention. It looks like the last patch which Steam applied has addressed my problem. Resolution now 'sticks' between runs. Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions.
