So I have someone in the metalwork workshop who refuses to smelt iron ingots for days even though I have the materials now. During on shift hours, the overseer will clean the floor instead. Tried various ways to reset it by removing the order then reinputting it, changing overseer, building a brick charcoal kiln (which they will use, just not the stone smelt), and even tried to demolish the whole workshop and rebuilt it. Still looking for workarounds this bug til its fixed. Any tips how to avoid it if it is a known issue?
Nevermind, it just turns out the indicator that I didn't have enough hematite did not red out like it should. Restarting the game made it clear I didn't have enough hematite. UGH.
