I get as far as naming the character and choosing a gender, then this happens: And here's the report: This happens regardless of any settings I've tested ("Realms of the Diggle Gods" on/off, permadeath on/off, various difficulty levels, using new skills or only old ones, male/female. I'm running the Steam version (Humble Indie Bundle) on OS X 10.5.8 with no mods. When I boot the same machine into Windows 7 (BootCamp), it works fine. Not sure why it's having a problem in basic_ostream of all places, but without a call stack I'll leave the diagnoses to you folks. : D Hope this helps you find bugs and stomp on them. same as me then? http://community.gaslampgames.com/threads/crash-after-naming-screen.1518/ presumably you can load the tutorials fine even if they don't all work properly at the moment. would be interesting to see if the 1.0.7 from the HIB page also does the same on your machine.
