All right, so when we land, there are pits and bumps in the ground that make squares in and about them off-limits for building. Is there, or will there be, any planned way to have our colonists even out the ground so that we can have aesthetically pleasing settlements complete with perfect symmetry in honour of the most Holy Cog?

I believe it's planned, but not priority just yet.

WOHOOOO.... Looking forward to seeing some really interesting, and quite accidental and unintentional, city planning that opens a portal for WhatCannotBeMentioned

Actually it is a priority for me. I want a nicely laid out colony with wide roads for lines of chained fishpeople to be led to the Fish Steak factory for 'enlightenment'.

This is what Mr. Whitman is coding today, in fact.
