Maybe I am just dumb but I can't figure out the ingredient to make Whiskey. The tool tip picture looks like a chest with flowers growing out of it and I have no idea what it is. Any help?
It's supposed to be maize I think. You could grow it in farms at one point but that got removed for whatever reason. Which also means laudanum is out as there's nothing to put the opium poppies into at a chemist's to make it.
(It's to approximate the brewing step before distillation. It's not entirely Historically Accurate, but it's a Good Enough approximation and it makes a clear progression from brewed booze to distilled booze, so there ya go.) Double-checked the icon btw, it's correct. Maybe doesn't read very well at 32x32 px though, hrm.
Perhaps I should illustrate the problem... When I brew beer the icon I click on is an empty glass bottle... And when I go to make whiskey Beer looks like this... But when I go to make Laudanum, the whisky looks just like the thing I clicked on to make it... So basically, I am saying if the beer icon was consistent, then it would be easy to figure out.
