What, if anything, is the difference between "stackable" and "allowstacking"?

    What, if anything, is the difference between "stackable" and "allowstacking" in spell definitions?

    It gets used 50/50 in every (base game + dlc) spellDB.xml, in every kind of buff - there can't be a difference.

    I seem to recall hearing something on the order of that one of them allows the buff's timer to be reset by recasting it (if the stack size is maxed out) and the other doesn't. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so which is which?
