Unable to research opium

    I've played 12 games and researched every branch without ever finding opium? Anyone else?

    Wow, just found the problem here: researching Opium requires Tobacco be researched. Tobacco requires a temperate climate. Opium requires tropical. SOOOO yeah, logged error as OC-4962 and we should have it fixed for 51D.

    Not sure if maize is in the same territory. Without it you can't make whiskey which is required to make laudinem.
