I've been having a minor issue where when I create a new character sometimes despite not turning permadeath off, it is somehow not active, but I don't notice until I either die or go to save. Usually I just delete the save file and start over, but on the most recent character this happened to I found a Crownstar Addendum in a fountain on the first floor, so I obviously don't want to delete this one. Is there a way I can edit the savefile so that permadeath is back on?
Nay, sir. You might have been able to succeed if you knew how to edit save files, but the way it is now, you can either create another character or just impose not dying as a rule and continue playing.
