I used the "Moldsmith" ability on a bunch of mushrooms that were in my belt and they vanished. I wasn't carrying any other mushrooms at the time so I'm sure they didn't simply merge with a different stack. EDIT: Possible false alarm. I just realized that there were some lobstermains in my inventory
