I'm wondering if there's been any thought as to whether or not we'll have pre-order tiers? I mean I know it's still early days but with games like Starbound and Defender's Quest II having taken pre-orders for months before release, not to mention the now-popular Kickstarter-esque tiering of pre-order bonuses, I'm wondering if it's going to be at least likely? I'm thinking, say: $15 Game $20 Game+OST $25 Game+OST+Artbook $30 Game+OST+Artbook+Storybook(?) That sort of thing. As an example, here's the DefQ2 page.

I'm really torn between the 300$ and 500$ tiers. For an extra 200$, the tier exclusive seems like real value.

Clearly you've gotten your tiers mixed up. 10k is the fish fry recipe. You don't get in-game rewards until 25k, and that starts with a rock with your name on it. I'm looking forward to 50k. I want a Hematite mine named after me!
