So what? You build Diggle towers along the minecart path and upgrade them to destroy the pesky human miners before they rob you of your stuff? Can I upgrade to Arch Diggle towers? Will Stone Guardian towers upgrade to Magicky Golems or are we sticking with creatures with the same basic sprite? Can I just get Corruption towers? How would Lutefisk work in this system?

Can I get a Dredmor tower?

Meat has already been used as a currency elsewhere. Maybe it could be a component is spell casting?
