Windows Vista/7 64-bit Neither armor nor blasting resistance protects against blasting damage.

    while doing some testing for my mod I noticed that blasting resistance granted by a buff did not protect against the blasting damage dealt by a custom spell.

    blast resistance provided by items also does not work.

    That explains it, I've definitely had this problem before that nothing resists it.
