Today I was getting annoyed at the inclusion of rank 6 Smithing recipes and no way to actually make them, at least not at any reasonable point in the game. After a little bit of poking around and annoying the people on IRC, I whipped up and tested a mod based on the Tinkerer's Goggles - the Welding Mask. * Hidden level 4 Smithing recipe * Costs a leather cap, 2x diamonds, and an iron ingot to craft * 4 Block, 1 absorbtion, -2 EDR, and -1 Sight Radius * Boosts Smithing by 1 * 2000z value to put it on par with the Tinkering Goggles. That's it. Hopefully someone else will find it a useful compromise between keeping the game pure and actually being able to use recipes that are actually built into the game! ***** BIG thanks to FaxCelestis for whipping up the icon!
