mac steam save file location

    Where the heck does Steam hide the save files in OS X?

    I've searched ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/dungeons of dredmor/Dungeons of Dredmor.app/Contents/MacOS for anything with the .sav extension, as well as by specific name of my characters, with no luck. I've checked for hidden files, again with no luck.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
