It belongs in a museum

Can anyone tell me exactly what this skill does?

As of yet, I just cant figure it out... activated skill, but it doesnt seem to do anything regardless of what I use it on.

 

it 'sells' the item for exp

select skill, hover over an ARTIFACT (aka, special name) in your inventory and it will ask a confirmation message, then you'll earn exp. Usually quite a bit. It can't be on your character sheet or on ground, it has to be in your inv. Artifacts are reasonably common so its good xp

 

you start off as with an archaeology hat, you can reroll that

 

(at least you can after you krong it)
