Is there a reason monsters, that are friendly, don't use abilities?

    I've started messing around with a build;

    -Fleshsmithing: Zombyfycation
    -Magical Law (Rank 2): Polymorphic Injunction
    -Paranormal Investigator (Rank3): Skepticism

    I found out that any Zombys I raised, then used Polymorphic Injunction/Skepticism on, would remain friendly when they were changed into a new creature. Which honestly, is awesome.

    The problem is, these new creatures don't seem to use their magical abilities.

    Does anyone know what's up with this?

    There isn't really a reason, other than it's not something we've implemented. Similar thing happens if you, the player character, is polymorphed into a monster, you can't used any skills until it ends.

    ...No? There's a whole skill tree in Realm of the Diggle Gods based on being able to do just that. Sure, your regular skills are unavailable, along with any skill based buffs, and it's debatable whether this should be the case but it doesn't strike me as unintentionally.

    You're right, my bad. They're 2 separate things. But if you charm a monster then it won't use any of its skills, right? Similarly to polymorphing them.
