Is it possible to edit existing recipes?

    1. Is it possible to change the required skill in a recipe to a different one?
    2. I'd like to change the "hidden" value of some of the existing recipes. Is it possible?
    3. I'd also like to completely remove some of the recipes. Is this possible?

    Yes to all three, I believe. You're going to need to do some XML digging to do it though. The hidden tag is mostly self-explanatory. You can just delete the recipe. For #1 I'm not entirely sure how it works.
