Hi, I have DOD + ROTDG on desura I installed it and then went into the dir with game and executed Dredmor, this what happend:
    Code:

which then continues in game + sound shutters + mouse slow in menu.
So I executed Dredmor-x86 and this is what happens:
    Code:
    ./Dredmor-x86
    dungeons of dredmor: version 1.0.11

The sound no longer shutters but mouse continues to be slow and whne I enter game all is lagging, but my processor (intel core2-duo 2.67Ghz) is running around 50%
    Is there any fix?

ps: the mods dont affect this its slow even with no mods...

I'll poke the devs about it since I know nothing much of linux, but DoD has had poor performance with a couple people for strange reasons, despite the specs being good enough.

What audio device? Let me guess, an integrated Realtek controller?

Those things are junk. The CPU does 9/10ths the work all the time. But 9 out of every 10 motherboards use them.

I am on the Windows side, but I also have slow performance with zero sound enabled at all. I have it unchecked in the game, and I have disabled my sound devices entirely on my system. It changes nothing. (Strangely, OpenAL still loads despite not being able to do anything even if I enabled sound in the game.)
