    That one is not yet resolved.

    The big difference between the lettered sub-patches and the monthly updates is that this is when all the month's changes carried out in experimental patches are considered safe enough to release to the public/default build of CE. There are a few extra fixes since 39E but they're mostly stability fixes. Here are a few from my list from 39E to 40:
    • morbid colonists are fascinated rather than horrified by fishpeople butchering humans
    • FIXED: Brewery foundation texture set to bricks
    • FIXED: Beetle steaks now produce correct number of cooked output
    • FIXED: fishpeople marked for execution can't trigger further crisis events
    • FIXED: fishpeople assault crisis will no longer double-trigger on a fishperson
    • FIXED: incorrect ticker message sent when deciding to execute fishperson for assault
    • (there may be a few more minor fixes that I'd have to find with some digging)
    And volumetric blueprints got added.

    Edit, dug up (my) full SVN commit notes between 39E and 40:
    • (small fix to immigration event button order)
    • changed brewery foundation to brick
    • added beetle steak entry to job_times.edb & fixed cooking output
    • FIXED: fishperson punishment events now check if target is dead before applying enemy tag
    • FIXED: non-existent bandit gang attempts to give you stuff
    • FIXED: colonists don't recognize airdropped item stacks as valid items
    • added sulphur tonic bottle icon
    • (edited wording on immigration.go)
    • (fixed extra comma in mineshaft products ticker string)
    • (turned off cluster stacking because objects in stack aren't recognized as valid job targets)
    • (added check for invalid target pos in animate_at.fsm)
    • (increased interrupt value of "pick up equipment" so soldiers would actually pick up equipment)
    • FIXED: fishpeople assault crisis will no longer double-trigger on a fishperson
    • (cleanup of bandit jobs so they do slightly less dumb stuff in the short-term; will overhaul bandits for rev41)
    • building materials favour now tells how much stuff was sent
    • (fixed stray pixels on obeliskian icon)
