Adding New Races/Characters - Is it Possible?

    Hi! I'm new to this forum.

    I've been a fan of roguelikes for years, and i quite like having a plethora of races to choose from. I was disappointed that DoD does not have any extra races, and i can't seem to find any mods that add any.

    Is it actually possible to add extra races or characters to the game? Has anyone done it before? Bonus points for fluffy races! ^u^

    You can't. You could edit the sprite of one of the characters though.

    You could create your own monster, and add a Skill/Item that Polymorphs you into that monster. You can make the buff permanent too, but you won't be able to use other skills.
