Confusion! The weblog has the patch notes for 1.0.10 and that's dated 16th of Feb. What's happening here?
-directx is also a correct but yea, -opengl is better because it enables steam overlay.
Of course I've failed to disarm a 45% chance trap 6 times..... so it really depends on how much Krong wants you to get your bolts/thrown weapons back.
Autoloot needs to be configured from the esc menu, then turned on. The button is on the bottom left corner of the hotbar.
As for the shift-click...
The minimap thing with markers for shrines/uberchests/anvils etc etc is in the works.
Also, all the save games are encoded. It's unlikely we'll be able to easily edit them ourselves.

So now with the new reversed clicking behaviour, clicking on an item puts it in your bags and shift-clicking an item... also puts it in your bags!...

Fortunately for me, I bought this game knowing that a huge chunk of the replay value came from making new characters.
1.0.2 - 14 mana, min cost 4, 4 blasting damage. Fireball effect - 5 conflag and 2 blasting. Flame field - 2 conflag dmg
1.0.3 - 16 mana, min cost...
Regarding tinkering and crossbows... I went 2 levels without finding any metal I could use to make bolts. Made me sad.

Test it out and let us know mwoody! But that means you'd have to dedicate many levels to just crafting skills...
The pickup button lets you try stuff on to see how it'll really affect your stats.
I'd dig a few more offensive fungi :P I'd really really dig being able to make bolts out of fungi! maybe shoot lobstermane at enemies?
I don't think there are any 2-handed weapons in DoD at all, are there?
An AOE skill for archery would also be great for those who want to roll pure archers.
