Ah, what a looser I am. I got this bug too, but instead of diamonds it generates Crude Iron Maces. What a joke.
More to that: if I cast Animate Mustache while currently living one is "paralyzed", I get two Mustaches.
Probably, did not see that bug report.
My own Mustache Golem got paralyzed by my Radiant Aura burst. Tooltip says it's paralyzed, but in fact - it's not, it can move freely.
Killed it with 10+ shots of Narcosomatic Induction, each caused 2 damage :)

You'll be able to kill Lord Dreadmor himself with just a weight of all the zorkmids you carry, lol.
Obviously, ultimate goal of the game is to die. Preferable, honorary, with lots of loot to rot on your corpse.
There should be a prize for that...
