Black terrain screen on start up

    Tried a fix with Nvidia, but it still doesn't work.

    What video card are you using? Desktop, or laptop?

    Yes, please. Also, you might be finding that it's switching to your integrated video card by mistake. There should be a guide on the Steam forums to configure your machine to ensure that this doesn't happen (NVIDIA drivers and Intel drivers do not always coexist peacefully.)

    This would seem to be a possible.

    I try to run Youtube music while playing games .

    Had this blackout happen at least three times.
    Game prestart show evga card parameters.

    Have recieved warnings after Blackout and or crash
    Have a very expensive newly replaced , capable gtx 960 card 4 .
    my Cpu at normalclock runs 3.5. about 4 years old
    Uing Firefox and the latest Evga Precision XOC

    NB: edit These were Total Blackout and crash not just terrain.

    no Dmp as yet..
